Green Tea (100 gr)

Some studies have shown that Green Tea extract can stop cancer cells growing. Green Tea contains substances called Polyphenols, and a subgroup called Catechins, which scientists think give it antioxidant properties. Antioxidant effects of Green Tea are six times more than Black Tea, and more than vitamin C, E, and carotenoids. In a clinical study on 68,242 people, it has been shown that Green Tea leaves have positive effects on anti-cancer effects, cardiovascular health, obesity control and intestinal health. A clinical trial was conducted to examine the inhibitory effect of Green Tea extract on the progression of oral precancerous lesions toward the malignant tumor. 59 patients with oral mucosa leukoplakia selected to take either the Green Tea treatment or the placebo. After 6 months, 37.9% of patients with Green Tea treatment showed a reduction in the size of oral lesions, in contrast, 6.7% of patients in the placebo showed a decrease in the size of oral mucosa leukoplakia. Green Tea contains caffeine and a type of flavonoid called catechin, which is an antioxidant. Research suggests that both of these compounds can speed up metabolism. Catechin can help to break down excess fat, while both catechin and caffeine can increase the amount of energy the body uses.
